You always wanted to be with me,
But I really need my space,
I like to feel that I’m free,
I don’t always want to see your face.

The day you called me up,
And told me to ‘get back here, ’
You treated me like a pup,
I hung up – you I do not fear.

I cut you out of my life,
And no I’m not sorry,
I couldn’t deal with the strife,
Now there’s no need to worry.

No one tells me what to do.

I agree with Sara... I was in a relationship you described above, so I ended it. But now I'm in one that I have never felt that way. I feel free and extraordinary when I'm with him. I love him so much. I feel as if we were born together and we've always been together, and together we strive in life and are free as one, or two... Love is hard to explain. But this is a wonderful poem! You are very talented.
