Free Poem by Joyce wolayo

Free

I want to fly like a rocket to the moon
Like an astronaut I will rise
On the tips of the moon
Because I am free

I will raise my hands in prayer
I will lift the beacon fire that flickers
In the magical wind
Because I taste freedom

I am like a roaring lion
Ready to pounce and destroy
I will devour and rip apart the flesh
Of my enemies because I am free

I am like a god
I will rule my kingdom
And I will prosper mightily
Because freedom is mine
I am free to reign
I am free

A great poem on the liberty of freedom to achieve one's dreams. Love the second stanza!
