Free Fall Poem by Rik Bertrand

Free Fall

Catch me as I fall into this thing called love,
Hold out your arms as I dropp from heaven above
Capture my essence and wrap it in your soul
Hold on tight, fight, and take total control

I am depending on your strength and your free will
My life hangs on your faith and the love you feel.
Do you care enough to take me in your heart?
Would you be ablt to survive if we were to part?

I shall thrive on your warmth and your smile,
I live for your touch, Will you touch me for a while?
Lie down and hold me close, feel the emotional flow,
Know that what you feel now will surely grow.

You have caught me in my free fall from above,
And I have seen the rapture of true love.
Do not ever let me go, hold on truly tight,
For this love that we have, I will forever fight.
