Free Hugs Poem by Jim Yerman

Free Hugs

You watch the news and begin to think the world is filled with hate and guns and drugs.
Then you see her on a street corner holding a sign that reads ‘FREE HUGS'.

You hug her...and as you watch the diverse people she receives,
You think...perhaps this world is not as horrible as the news has led us to believe.
