Always known to bring laughter,
In the dizzying world of fame,
Yet all that you wanted there
Was some quiet to remain sane.
Some moments of due respite
Without need to be for others,
Tranquil times you failed to meet
So you chose to escape forever.
Perhaps behind the big smile
Your deep sadness we did not see,
Your eyes spoke them all the while,
You were crying out to be free.
So sad to let you go, Robin,
With thanks, we bid you goodbye.
Your life has taught us some lessons
Let your laughter now fill the sky.
