Free To Lawbreak Poem by Ima Ryma

Free To Lawbreak

The Founding Fathers, yes indeed,
Believed in religious freedom.
Most of the Founders of the creed
Of Christians, but all deemed welcome
To be of any faith as long
As laws of the State be obeyed.
At times beliefs can just be wrong
Against the rules the State has made.
If a believer interacts
With the society as a whole,
Then any religious abstracts
Must work within the common soul.

Religious believers be free,
But need to do so legally.

You cognitive said it better...sadly too many people still don't get it....freedom only exists should we stay within the parameters of what we know to b true and rightfully so. Thank you for the a profound piece, that should make others think before acting. Well done, my friend...PEACE
