Freedom Poem by Clive Blake

Freedom

Rating: 5.0

Don't try to end my liberty,
Don't try and cage me in,
Don't try and control my thoughts,
Free-thinking is not a sin,
Don't tell me who I can mix with,
These choices are mine alone,
Don't invade my privacy,
My private life is my own,
Don't stop freedom of expression,
Don't stop freedom of speech,
Don't rewrite or cancel our history,
But instead open-mindedness teach,
Millions of people have died for it,
For freedom's worth fighting for,
So it's crucial to protect freedom,
For it's too late …
When it exists no more!
