Freedom

Even though I am in a torn country is full of War
I need to keep in mind the reason that I am here for.
This is a reason that most do not agree with
But it is ok to me, because one thing that they can’t give
And that is the chance to have freedom
To many this is a reason that might be dumb

Freedom has its rights and wrongs
But this is the one thing that makes this country strong
There are so many countries out there that try to emulate us
And that is ok, because they never see the freedom that we have in the U.S.
And to some our citizens they don’t think before they speak
Because they are many of people in this world that looking for the only thing they seek

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Freedom: We need to try to think about our past. The United States did not win every battle by ourselves, it took many of us to come together to find the peace and freedom that is needed for this world to survive.

So please try to understand that we might not always agree on our policies that bring us overseas. We must agree on at least one thing, that if we go overseas we must have a plan to survive and bring freedom and peace to that torn apart country.
