Freedom And Nature Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Freedom And Nature

Freedom and nature

I recall
Standing on a rock, a cliff underneath
It's spring, sun shining in morning, silver-gold
On the sides are shadows and peeking flowers
Colorful, different in size, name, even age
What a day!
And the birds run, fly and some chirp
And deer with baby, recent born, lifts her head
Alarming

In city, asphalt roads or concrete; and highways
Round and round; cars many
Fast drive as racing
What with but the time-life?
Nine to five like camel in oil-mill
Of childhood

Radio and TV and websites
All the same
Similar everything; everywhere
Our food same, table, plate and clothes that we wear
To the cars; Chevrolet and Volvo, Toyota

Is casket
(Vehicle to grave)
Also same
Same as room made of things
(Ikea's Table, rack and the bed)
Space-Time is now dead; and cultures
Global Everything
(McDonald, Starbucks and the Coke)
I miss the mountainside; flowers
Fresh air, freedom and nature
