‎freedom Tale‬. Poem by Lopamudra Mishra

‎freedom Tale‬.

Freedom's wine tasted fine..
With lots of rhyme and its chime..
People forget their predecessor's past..
Their struggle and sufferings they cast..
Ready to burn in freedom fire..
They crush their selfish goal with thorny wire..
March with a zeal to return our country's pride..
With time's wheel...
Bore many scars, as now it is healed..
Tales of courageous act..
Bejewelled canvas filled, ,
People least bothered for family and friend's shield..
Our freedom fighters adapted different moves..
Towards intruders.. chilled..
Great son of soil MAHATMA took the charge
With the high voltage current..
Of non violence watt..
Engulfs the nation in its trap..
Drags the evil to scrap..
We should remember them today..
With their deeds
With respect and homage..
And a vow..
To keep our nation in peace..

An amazing tribute to those who secured freedom of our country from the ruthless and wily colonial masters. Now, it is our turn to remember there heroic deeds and to dedicate ourselves in the task of rebuilding our great nation. Thanks.
