Fresh Fish Over Camp Fire Cooked Poem by Terence George Craddock

Fresh Fish Over Camp Fire Cooked

Rating: 5.0

sea trout coming up rivers
mountain trout lake bound
makes camp fires complete

when fresh caught
on rod line by hand
even a stick of jelly?

looked at a few trout
with hunger camp fire
anticipating happy joy

looking forward to night
with a few friends feast
fish under stars prepared

tasted good after being cooked
on collected wood burning camp fire
have to admit I enjoy eating a good steak

but fish fresh caught
makes my mind salivate
even before eaten savoured
