Flash of lightning begin. Storm start to tremble,
Thunders roar, earthquakes begin as the ground start to crumble
This we feel in times when we are down and in need
What we need is a true friend indeed

You are there when everyone say I’m weak
And when everyone thinks I’m a freak
What do they don’t know it is you I need
A true friend indeed

When I am alone in a corner
You came to me and my world became wider
When I lose hope and faith in myself
You are there giving me some help

When I back out and lose strength
Lose everything include my wealth
You’re still there on the side of me
Now I am rich as a richest man can be

For all in these I am grateful to God
For accepting me for being me
You’re the best thing I ever had
And I want you to thank thee.

I want you to know I am always here
Cheer you up when you are in tears
I will never leave you in times of need
Cause I will be your friend too, a true friend indeed
