Friend And Foe Poem by Abdul Wahab

Friend And Foe

Long before I declared I am open to any correction
Because I suppose I am wise and intelligent
But you keep supporting
My rights and wrongs alike
Like a true friend
This is a blunt advice to correct your follies
Now you fumes and frets
And like an enemy you behave
It would be very simple and would not make any suggestion
If I were known to the fact that you are fool
Now I am very pleased with my enemy
And my enemy is pleased with me
As we exchange blows where weakness is
Then we rush to search our strength
We want to break one another in our precarious time
When that critical time is over
He finds him
And I find me unbreakable
