Friends Poem by Erin Reale

Friends

Friends,
Like every other good thing on this planet,
They are hard to keep,
Special,
Come in different colors,
And easy to brake,
But for some reason,
They all are the same

You know you have a best friend when,
When you can tell her everything,
And she wont tell a soul,
When your sad and hid it behind a smile,
She can just tell it in your eyes
When you call her your sister,
And she feels the same,
But most of all,
When you can’t stand to see her upset,
You feel like you need to punch someone in the face,
Because she makes your life,
Just,
A little bit,
Easier
