She laughed, she smiled
Looking weary-eyed.
Though the puffiness is gone,
I would have always known
The tears she shed...
She couldn't be that strong!
I don't know what to do
Nor what to say,
Could not even leave
Nor rather would I stay.
Yet, 'I'm here', is what I say,
When the morning comes...
Talk to me! Talk to me!
Tell me what you want to say.
Tell me, tell me, go on
I want to know what's wrong...
I'll be a shoulder to cry on,
So tell me what's going on.
I'll always be here to listen
I want to ease your pain...
I'll share half the burden
I'll do what I can;
To bring back the laughter
though I know I'm not your sun...
I don't want you down!
Promise, don't want you down.
