Come sit with me at sunrise as we watch the day begin
As the glorious rays of sunshine herald in a new day
Know that I am here for you if you ever need a friend
Talk to me, confide in me, know that I care.

When the road of life gets rocky and things get tuff
I will be there to help you overcome, just tell me
When darkness intrudes in your life and you feel alone
Call me, for you are not alone, I'll always be there.

A true friend is always there in the good times and the bad
A true friend does not pass judgment, they support
A true friend will hold you and comfort you when you're sad
I am a true friend and I will never turn away.

Come sit with me as the sun sets and watch the light fade
As the sun slowly sinks with the brilliant colors of red
I have always been here for you, I have always cared
Know that I am and always will be your friend.
