! Friends In The Sky Poem by Vidyadhar Durgekar

! Friends In The Sky

Rating: 3.2

First shimmering light I arose
Seeing a bunch of lovely rose;
Sun smiling through the window
Over the trees dangling bough
Like a red rose in heavenly meadow;

Sun shining brightly in the sky;
Waking to remind me of my-
Memorable days passed by;
which had promised to come by
Whenever going went hay wire;

Waiting for them every day
Promising Sun came and went by
Celestial Moon waited in the sky
Along with Stars to smile
Whenever I was sad and shy;

Starting the day with a smile to spare
To my lovely friends in the sky,
In the eden of twinkling stars,
Who shall be with me whenever I cry
Who shall be with me whenever I cry

I like the way you remember your freinds in the sky as I often do with the stars. Your writing is easily understood by following the rhyme which I certainly find more enjoyable to read as well as write. well done 10
