one finds a friend

to fill some need

that only they can



with whom to share

whom you dare to trust

set apart from the rest

who makes your days worth every moment



through storms so great

never leaves your side

will wipe your tears

with words reassuring



to love and to hold

till death do as part

may not be your path

but your heart is at peace
