If I can't be your soul mate.
If I can't be the one you love.
If us isn't meant to be
at least I have you as a friend.

And if that's all
I could ever be to you
it'd be the best thing
that could of happen to me
because a friend like you
is something special to keep.

But, if us is meant to be
faith will bring us together
and as i wait for that time to come
I'll be sitting here cherishing
the friendship that we have
because to me it is more important
then to lose it over love.
