Friendship Thou Made Poem by Prabhakar Srivastava

Friendship Thou Made

A lonely soul with impossible goal
Nurishes itself to overcome the strife
Unability of heart and fatigue of sole
Jeer and say thou have but futile life

How much I owe to thee o my mate!
A life less metal thou turned into gold
Presence of thine changed my fate
Purity that thou have but very few hold

You presented an example of friendship
By renouncing thy wills for my sake
It's only thy simplicity that can easily tip
Real hearts holders who aren't but fake

Tears drench my cheeks when I think
How could I without you try to survive
Dare, faith, and hope were nearly to sink
And then thy arms appeared to revive

You are my God gifted friend, my dear
Love that you showed touched my heart
A lonely soul was I wandering with fear
You came in my life and became its part
