When all is lost and no one around
    your heartbeat, the only sound
In the blackest hole the smallest light
Hope! give's the strength to fight

love the title! Fringes of Hope,

An excellent extended metaphor - love the fringes, frays and unravellings - and the message is spot on. S ;)
