In my life you play a significant
If I am a happy soul
You are the life in me

If I have a smile on my face
You are the reason of my joviality
If my heart is alive

You are the throb of it
You let the joy inside me to thrive
And when the moments of pain arrive

Your face gives me the courage to survive
In the darkest night
When I need your light

In the times of despair
You show me how much you care
You are always, always there

Even I can't bear the tears in your eyes
your painful cries
Or the wounds on your heart

That you try to conceal
But we are eachother's medicine and heal
And now I promise, I swear

If you call me anytime, anywhere
I'll make sure I am there
To take care of you....to keep the promise I made with you
