From A Manger Poem by norman hale

From A Manger

From a manger
To the cross
He was sent here
To pay that final cost

He walked among man
Preaching the Holy way
Trying to teach others
Right up until His final day

He touched so many
And healed them instantly
Helping the crippled to walk
And helped the blind to see

He preached the gospel
As His Disciples wrote them down
Knowing one day he would be betrayed
Just to prove He could rise from the ground

He was sent here
For sinners like you and me
To die on that cross
And set our sins free

Yes, from a manger
Born on Christmas Day
To that very cross
Just to show us the way

One day He shall return
Just to claim His very own
To take us up to Heaven
To gather around His Throne
