From Apple Blossom Poem by Francis Wells

From Apple Blossom

Rating: 5.0

So pale the bloom of Nature’s Art:
From blackest soil does drink and feed.
With light-filled air does nectar part;
So sweet the kiss from honeybee.

Her bosom swells and draws yet more.
A fruit, now glorious with hue:
In green and russet - white in core,
Is picked and shared; by lovers true.

So spills the seed, a life assured
to multiply the sweetened years:
That lovers, each in full accord,
The alchemy of Eden shares.
