From Day One Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

From Day One

Rating: 4.0

Yes we had yet not exploded
But were wedded
To the idea of being always one
That was desire with much liking from day one

She will come with head down
Make her views known
Express desire boldly to get fast
And bring the uncertainly to last

I wanted to give fair time
With words to understand all the times
Was it real attachment?
I was unable to comment

She will whisper in ear
I shall it listen with deep fear
Was she crating artificial impression?
I was in deep love with strong relation

So far she was through
With sincerity and allowed
Me to come very close
But I restrained and not chose

I must tell her right now clearly
She may be feeling bad dearly
I shall hold hand and simply say
"Will you be mine from this day"?
