From Divorced Child Poem by Samuel WODEKHA Mang'anya

From Divorced Child

Indeed good old days they were
Confidence I had that in psyche I would grow
Is once love between you not there?
Never that you would separate did I know

Confidence I had that in psyche I would grow
I am five plus eight years since you went there
Never that you would separate did I know
Only mum seating to make life fair

I am five plus eight years since you went there
Never do I know what terminated your once between glow
Only mum sweating to make life fair
May be I contributed to this our own blow?

May be I contributed to this our own blow?
I need your love and care
Never do I know what terminated your once between glow
I need to go to school and fare.
