From This Day Forward, Poem by Mary Wismer

From This Day Forward,

Rating: 5.0

Through' the everlasting strife
in the mysteries of life.
Friendship, that we promise,
From the other side of this world begun,
Hath the secret of the sun.
A bond between two hearts
a symphony of feelings
when time is spent apart

'I'll paint a sun to warm your heart
knowing that we'll never part.
I'll draw the years all passing by
So much to learn, so much to try.
I'll trace a hand to wipe your tears
and trace a look to calm your fears.
A silhouette of dark and light
to hold each other oh so tight.

Precious as rare jewels
That makes the whole world bright
Or anything that's honest and good, an eye.
A fountain in a waste.
A well of water in a country dry.
From this day forward,
you shall not walk alone.

May we share our special days,
the happiness of one for two;
and if we must go separate ways,
let my love remain with you.

A silhouette of dark and light to hold each other oh so tight......................as the friendship when shined in time and space as bondage of love ravishingly courses across the its depth as when reveled by the secret of all sacred when heartful, yet a superb epithet of promise sdazzling when blazed by the glory of love, yet a great write as i adore and admire that deseves 10+, thanks for sharing
