From Yesterday Poem by Jessica Hoffman

From Yesterday

Rating: 2.7

When I was young I thought I knew
What I would be, what I would do
When I grew up I'd save mankind
I'd fix every problem I could find
There'd be nothing I couldn't accomplish!
Now, well ... don't I wish!
It's hard enough to do what's right
Without fixing everything in sight.
So now I know I'll do my best
Hoping someone else does all the rest.
