Frontiers Poem by David Harris

Frontiers

We stand on frontiers of our own making
some benefit while others destroy.
Imagine if we could change the course of destiny
what would happen if we did.
We would change the course
of our world and all who live in it.
How many times have we wondered
if we didn’t do something
would our destiny go a different way.
As I sit and write this, I ask myself
would it really matter
because maybe our destiny is already planned
and the frontiers we have to cross
are mapped out for us by some unseen hand.
