Frost Bite Poem by Lyssa Renea

Frost Bite

Its pain beneath my finger
The way you burn me so
The cold, I just can't adapt
Here, but gone. I've lost you
You're freezing to the touch
Temperature at below zero
The pain you have caused me
Only grows with every touch
My body burns from frost
You must think it's soothing
The frozen pain on my lip
Made by you, and you alone
I cry for you, if only you knew
Alone in the night,
Your freezing touch hurts
But calls to my body
Needing yours so badly
Like a withdrawal from drugs
You're burning pain unto me
I need cold, like you need warm
Do you hurt like I? Or am I alone?
