Frozen Ice. Poem by Jodie Louise Pollock

Frozen Ice.

Rating: 3.5

Body frozen and heart thick ice,
Waves crush, and waves slice,
Shallow pool on the verge to drown,
Run or stay, get beat down,

Mind frozen and soul thick ice,
Waves persuade, and waves entice,
Cold ocean thrashes and burns,
Uncontrollable water tosses and turns,

Feelings frozen and emotion thick ice,
Waves unfold, and waves sacrifice,
With empty eyes, look at the end,
Lost at sea, no way of amend.
