White-hot flames that,
In your absence,
Peak.
Twisting, contorting;
I cannot see.
When did my body curl itself this way?
And...
Why can I not recall?
I wish to tell you.
(As I wish you could tell me.)

But this insatiable hunger...
(Could it be love?)
It eats at my thoughts;
Bringing them to the surface,
And dangling them just out of reach.
How strange that they all contain you...

Emotions run rampant,
Tears of happiness-
Or is it misery?
Threaten to drown me.

This siege of emotions,
Will it never end?
Could this be my demise?

It feels an awful lot like dying.
But how would I know?
I'm still alive.

It's all so confusing, disorienting;
You could call me a wreck.
I'm falling apart,
And I don't know what to do,
But one thing's for sure;
I know I need you.

Without you,
I'm nothing.
I can't even hold myself together.
Somehow you can,
You make it all better.

Romeo put it right,
With his words of 'sweet sorrow'
With every goodbye...
How do I make it to tomorrow?
I love you so much-
You're my heroin; my drug.
Without you;
Withdrawl.

Will it ever end?
'Cause I need you again.

Please save me,
From emptiness-
So profound.
This never would have happened,
Had we not said 'Goodbye.'
