Imagination is
Spinning, Flying
Two eyes stare
Mirrored figure
Shoots right back
A haunting dare
That floats the air
And taunts what's there.

The measure of a man
Croons the old band
But it don't say enough
Of sizing this up
What makes the skin
Of some so tough
To seek and find
What's behind a mind
It's nature to spit and spin.

She walks the hall
And lifts her chin
For no one's eyes
Except her own
She want to trust
But shrinks alone
And hides herself
From a face that pries.
Might what's inside just fear and die?
