Full Moon Wakeful Poem by Kaye Aldenhoven

Full Moon Wakeful

Rating: 5.0

I watch the full moon
slide down
a dome of dark glass.

His silvered body,
disturbs my peace of mind.

Sleep averted, I wait.
The moon sets.

At dawn the speargrass flowers
while we make love.

A very remarkable poetess who loves to travel, I do too, that understripes her adventurous character to want to know more about the outside world, outside her homeland.

3) Being CHOSEN as the Poet Of The Day Today, I could not find some space to write down my happiness to let her KNOW about this.

2) In her poetry, the usual becomes strange and the worlds to which most of us are strange come closer.
