Full Moons Sleepless Night Poem by Andrew Rose

Full Moons Sleepless Night

The night is young,
And I am fresh,
Craving for the warmth,
That lays in another,

The senses are heightened,
And my lady is full,
Blessing this night,
With a silvery smile,
One that I can sit and reflect in,
When my hunger is quenched,

Another night of passion,
Ecstasy and lust,
While my racing heart,
Pounds through the night,
Only offering me sleep,
When the suns first rays,
Bless my sight,
I slip into a deep slumber…

Happiness, safety and warmth,
Lying peacefully by my side…
