Futurama Poem by Jonathan De Vocht

Futurama

It is so very distant, this time to come.
O tell me, is the future good to all or some?
But no-one can succeed in this hopeless task.
In our minds it is, this 'must' to find the clue.
Always we try, in vain, to remove the mask.
But soon we see, things emerge out of the blue.

Tears of pain and joy, all part of knowing-how.
Powers and creations come, which i allow.
Days go by, and misty forms are reveiling,
changes we endure, perhaps lost out of sight.
We learn, we create, we see the strong feeling.
Maybe all will fall down, watch out, it just might.

O tell me, is the future good to all or some?
It is so very distant, this time to come.

Sonall said the answer, live each day happy, but I add to it, then the next days will be happy too. You are new, so I am telling it again. Life is what we put into it. If you find great faith in a good God and believe that you are His child and only good comes to you, then you will find it sooner or later, no matter what comes it is Good, because it is teaching you to be strong, wise and flexible. How we think, we get it. If we are negative, that comes, if we have the faith in goodness, then whatever comes we can handle with ease. This life is a school room where we get lessons. If we get through well, comes another challenge. We have this until we are in this world. We, people are like a software in a big computer. We put our life story and experiences into it. If we are flexible we go through anything gloriously, if we are proud, nasty and full of will power, we brake. You are very smart, learn as much as you can. Through wisdom you find freedom and true happiness eventually. I did.

I like the message of this poem which shows the anxiety of our decisions, hard decisions, hasty decisions or decisions with much thought. ‘Always we try, in vain, to remove the mask. But soon we see, things emerge out of the blue’. The need to know them early is very human. Please change the spelling of ‘wihch' to ‘which’ this beauty needs no blind spots ? Keep writing

Our minds are set on the future and forget to live the present moment..It is the present moment, the now moment which holds the ultimate joy, one should live it fully and completely with a child like innocence and enthusiasm. Nice write!
