cedric watson II

(march 10 / Washington DC)

garden of life

i planted seeds for flowers
and on my field beautiful red roses grow
stunning and plentiful, i shower them with love
but in the roots a desease that i did not know
two beautiful months, beautiful months they lasted
but the desease caught up reminded me that all things must die
i honestly thought they would last forever
turns out it was all built on a lie
the devistation is so depressing
yet i still hold on to my love and passion
sitting utterly confused not nowing what to do
a beautiful white rose appears out of the ashes
