Gargoyle Poem by Guy Northam

Gargoyle

Weathered stone with ingrained dirt,
A marvel to behold:
Beast ensculpted, crossbow bolted,
Immortal in its throe;
The serpent stiffened into horror,
A horrid moment, the ending of its woe.
