Gathering Thoughts Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Gathering Thoughts

Conversations mingled
Background music played
Every sip of coffee
Felt tastier and tastier.

What's better for the lover
Of books sitting still
In the bookstore coffee shop
Reviewing a pack of books.

It's an ideal place to gather
Thoughts that seem to escape
And fly away into space
With no way to get 'em back.

I rejoice these moments
Precious they are in life
To arrange thoughts into words
And write for others to read.
