Gentle Breeze Poem by Dee Sheridan

Gentle Breeze

I can not see thee through
my naked eyes yet i can
see thee through my
washing hanging on
the hills hoist and of
the leaves hanging from
the branchs of the old gum tree
as i stand here in silence
i feel the coolness on my face
so gentle and soft as if to caress
and in a way in which a loving hand
could never imitate and at the same
time swirling my hair around as if it was
dancing to the beat of a love song
