Get A Grip Poem by John Leroy Maxwell

Get A Grip

Rating: 3.3

Oh, my gosh, your saying things again
you sound just like a neglected old hen
Whah, whah, whah and whine, whine, whine
You have everything you need, and
even some of mine
I love you my dear, but you're driving me insane
Your trifling little rhetoric is simply inane
Let's take a healthy stroll, and talk things out
We really need to do this, without a doubt
You say we need this, and you say we need that
But we have so much stuff, out bank account went flat
So take a look around, and don't give me no lip
Sit down, relax and Get A Grip
