you taught me about many things
in our time together
how anger can be mistaken for sorrow
how people hide behind a mask
to shield there pain
but most importantly
you taught me not to fall in love

because love causes pain and sorrow
joy and fright
day and night
so many emotions its overwhelming
and will lead to a cretin death
yes
you taught me not to fall in love
but I will repeat the same mistake
until I get it right
