Getting Out Poem by J.E. Deen

Getting Out

You splendid wanderer
aimfull
with a voice full of buckshot
go and seek your wonderlust
not of an unbegotten oasis
but the shadows of your own dust

Pack yourself in a hurry
do not hesitate
for the door becomes narrower
if you wait
