I was driving through town and you popped in my head
So I turned the music up
Trying to get you off my mind

I don't know why it's hard for me to forget you
I wish I never knew you
You used to be the one that made me smile
No matter how rough my day had been

You always seemed to say the right things
I was blindsided by you with all those beautiful lies
It's been awhile since I've heard from you

And I know you're with her
I hope you're happy
But you know you broke me into

So here I am torn apart
I'm slowly putting myself together
But I know that I'm better off without you
I'm better because I can't handle you coming in and out of my life

I'm chilling while driving down a long road with the music turned up
Going about 10 miles over
Smiling cause I know I'm getting closer to getting you off my mind
