Gift Or Burdon? Obama's Prize Poem by Shirley Hanley

Gift Or Burdon? Obama's Prize

Rating: 2.0

What a world we live in...
the head of the free world
receives the high honor
of the Nobel Peace Prize
and is criticized for it...

When anything and everything
he does is held suspect
and his critic's use
this noble moment
to beat him over the head
with a gift bestowed by others.

They applaud and cheer
his failures, even though
it costs our country...
and they do so
with gleeful hatred.

These are not patriots.
These are out of control
egos that must declare
all descentors from their
particular opinion... unworthy
and blind, stupid and misguided.

Where were you
when Bush
was leading us down
the garden path
to war and economic
destruction?

Enough said...

Excellent composition! I find it strange that his critics never offer solutions, just 'loyal' opposition. Please read 'Pharmaceutical....Rush.'
