Ginger And Garlic…..09 April,2k11

Rating: 5.0

Leisurely walk to the nearest mall.
Apace, the seasoning and sauces stall.

Get some broccoli and oyster sauce.
And some more to chop and toss.

Brussels sprouts are so much fun.
With color capsicum almost done.

Aha? Where the celery, dried thyme,
for the twist a sunlit lime?

So much pasta to choose from.
The best shown by salesman tom.

A sachet of Indonesian sundry spice.
Scratch of the chin at the steep price.

Well? Chicken, prawn or tenderloin,
so depends, on your pocket coin.

At home then the knives and boards,
better hurry, before the hoards.

Chopped the veggies down to cubes,
simmered the pasta to floppy tubes.

Oh! Scratched my wok the last time.
Alas! Like me, it’s past the prime.

A twirl of oil in the heated pan,
ginger and garlic, Oh! What a man!

Aroma rises in a heavenly haze,
the trick then is not to faze.

The prawns go in first of all,
just so they turn a softy ball.

Turn and dab all in the wok.
Put some amber on the rock.

Couple of minutes and it’s done.
With family’s love it’s so much fun.
