Girl In Motion Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Girl In Motion

A girl in motion with bouncy hair,
Wearing a flouncy dress.
Running through her house so quick.
Giggling as she did.

This girl in motion ran downstairs,
In a twisty hoppy way,
She giggled while giggling, as if to say,
Life is a party, life is a fun stay.

Now she ran through fields and forests,
Fields of the floral kind,
Forests of the densest kind.
Her laughter resonated everywhere.

This happy girl now reached,
The grainy beige beach.
With vanilla milkshake surf.
That girl used to having fun,
Laughed and screamed in the surf and the sun.

The laughter of her life,
Caused others' to laugh,
She showed everyone,
How instead of running,
To find happiness.

You should feel happiness during the run.
