Oh my dear, never too harsh, never to me
Never, never say trying hard is me
It sounds so annoying, though it’s true
I really don’t want to hear it from you

My dear, my dear, just for my sake
Be with me in this journey that I’ll take
Most true it is that I have no proof to show
But from your tongue I don’t want to know

I know I live in this poor poetry of mine
On newer proof I know I am blind
Accuse me not and I will kiss your lips
For what’s in my mind I want to speak

Your praise never can be missed
Straight in your heart no more I can hear
To me are nothing, nothing strange
Unspoken words are just cause of hate

To believe in me is a shame to you
And with your honest faith I have no clue
Who will believe my poem in time to come
Worst is you will never ever be my fan

Truly it makes my heart groan
You make me out of my comfort zone
But weigh not each word in every line
Just feel the thought and you may find

For you my dear, I do strive to prove
I swear I will be patient and cool
With all my best I saw myself to win
No to despair, which I then did feel
