Give Me An Organ Poem by Dante Furious

Give Me An Organ

Sad isn’t that your dead
Sad that when they dropped you
From a great height
In that lead lined box
To your final resting down the black soiled abyss
Your organs will go with you across the Styx
While children hug on hospital wings
Grieve for an organ left to fester
For a maggots playground
Be remembered for the life you saved
Not the life you spent
