Give Me That Man

give me that man who can make you lose your breath in one touch
kiss you when you lease expect it and that alone will make your heart rush

give me that man who says one word and its stuck in your head all day
there to reasure you that everything is gonna be okay

give me that man who spends his day writing that song
who loved me so much but its long and gone

give me that man that has a rock solid shell but on the inside hes a soft soul
just by you being here once has made me out of control

give me that man that will always be a friend
even when everyone turns and im at a dead end

give me that man that has picked up and left the past behind
and that i still drag around, but im dropping it, its about time

give me that man that always understood the big things and the little ones he noticed
just the thought of him at anytime makes me lose my focus

give me that man that will always take a place in my heart
but baby your stressing me out and its time for us to part

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
